Seeing red....

I have been trying to get ahold of my LO since Sunday to lock in our rate. Have I heard from her?? Nope. I can't say I'm surprised though. Tuesday Chris got an email to have all up to date statements, w-2s, pay stubs etc to our loan processor by tomorrow or our settlement is pushed back...ummmm what?! So I have frantically been printing statements, arguing with my bank to get copies of our checks clearing to Ryan homes from our CD. Oh and he hasn't received his w-2 from his previous job so I have to go get that. I realized yesterday when I went to fax 55 pages to our LP that my fax broke. Looks like ill be driving over an hour tomorrow to deliver papers face to face. I know it's not their fault my fax machine broke but a little more then 3 days notice would be nice. I hope I can keep my composure tomorrow when I drop this stuff off because I'm at the end of my rope. NO communication at all and I hate that! Grrrr.. I just had to vent! Is it too late to try to get financed with my bank that I use? I probably should have just done that in the first place...

  1. I'm sorry they are rushing you to get your documentation in... yet they aren't responding when you try to get in touch with them.

If you have an iPhone, you might be able to save yourself the hour drive with an app for your phone. This app really saved us some time and money... you can read about it here: http://florencewithryanhomes.blogspot.com/2013/01/final-approval-and-really-cool-iphone.html There may be similar apps available for other phones too if you search around.

  2. I am really surprised that they did this to you. From the very beginning our LO told us exactly what we would need for final approval and she suggested that each time we got a pay stub or bank statement to put it into a binder and hold on to it. That way when they make last minute requests, we will immediately have it on hand. I'm sorry to hear about your fax, seems like the app that M suggested is a real gem. Let us know how it goes!

    1. Thanks Cami! We were never told we would need anything for a final approval, nvr just said we would have to do it again since we wouldn't close in time but they had what they needed. I just can't wait to go see my house with drywall this weekend to make everything better!!
